Hi, my name is Michael Mondt. I am a father of 4, husband of a beautiful wife, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Infantry, and survivor of a life-ending accident.

On July 20th, 2022, while working I was caught in a fire that sent me to the hospital on a life-flight. I woke up 10 days later with everyone looking at me like a miracle. Turned out I was supposed to die 8 days earlier and now I was about to lose my hands and spend the next year in this burn unit. I fought hard kept my hands and 105 days later I was walking out of that hospital on my own accord. Since that day I have been trying to figure out a new life. My mobility is hampered, and my pain is constant.

This blog is going to be a look at how not only myself but my family has moved on from an accident that ruins people and families for life and not only let it define us in a positive way but use it to help benefit others and shows the world the grace and love God has for this family.
