Sorry I have not been on the grind as I was before. The honest truth is I am currently fighting something in the health world. It’s something that has slowly gotten worse and worse, leaving me in bed a lot and barely leaving my house for many hours . I have been going to games and practices but haven’t put as much extra time in with Ellie and Timmy as I normally would. My wife has also been taking Zoey to more of her practices than normal.
I have not really talked about what is going on with me yet with anyone because I am not completely sure what’s going on myself but this next Wednesday I should be fully informed and understand after all the test I will be having on that day. All I know right now is that everything hurts, and I feel sick all day. This is killing my daily abilities to operate, but hopefully soon I will be better.
Update on different things:
Ellie has stepped back from all the baking because it’s soccer season, and she has been practicing harder this season than I have ever seen her try.
Zoey goes into long course next week, and her first meet is April 5th. There is also a large possibility of her moving up levels on her team, really depending on her next times. In good news, since her end of the short course season which left a large gap because she missed state championships, she has been able to drop multiple seconds off her 25m times because she learned how to swim with less breaths. This will carry over into the 50m course. We will keep you updated because we are looking at 3 meets this season, April, May, and June, meets, and July is the state championship for long course.
We have not only started the soccer season. We also picked up a 6U baseball team that starts in 2 weeks. We also made deals to be assistant coach for an 8U soccer team next season. I was trying to figure out how I was going to coach both Timmy and Ellie in soccer at two different levels. Lucky me, Timmy’s current coach is ready to move to 8U5 and was more than happy to let me coach with her so I could coach both kids next season.
We have had a lot going on lately, but sadly, I have been so far down in the dumps that I haven’t had the energy to write or do much other than what I must. It has taken almost everything in me mentally to be able to study for my church kids, and I haven’t even come close to getting my baseball team fully set up yet. I know that multiple parents haven’t even acknowledged my coaches’ text, and normally, I’d have blown up phones and sent emails, but I have not had the energy to do that so far. I truly pray that I will have all the answers on Wednesday and have the surgery I need scheduled quickly and be back on my feet to get back to working hard each day.
I am truly sorry I’m slow right now to this, but I’m sure I’ll be back to myself soon as I get this medical issue taken care of.
